In Weekend #2 Thunderbolts* managed to pull in $32M for a -56.4% hold, which admittedly wasn’t as good as expected considering the lack of competition and its excellent CinemaScore and Rotten Tomatoes ratings. -56.4% lands it just above the median for Marvel 2nd weekend holds. Still, $127M after two weekends will give it a decent shot to reach $200M, especially knowing we have another weekend coming up with no tentpole releases.
The other selected movie, Fight or Flight, actually exceeded its slim expectation with a $2M opening. But that will fall juuuuust short for the 1 player who picked it. Oops.
